The Alpsee Coaster

We went with Torsten, Tatiana and Vicky to ride the Alpsee Coaster. It was a lot of fun a sure was beautiful! In the winter it is a ski resort but in the summer you can go hike, ride the coaster and do a lot of other fun stuff!

My good looking kids!

We found this little trampoline place at the top
and Kyler wanted to jump.
Finishing up the coaster! It was a lot of fun!

Our first week or so in Germany

For our first week in Germany we did a lot of stuff. We went on several bike rides and just explored. It is beautiful here and we are going to be very happy! The weather has been perfect too!
Less than a mile from our house is this incredible
river, the Donau. It is gorgeous!

This was their first day of school!
They were pretty excited!

There is this nice little pathway where we can ride our
bikes. It is a lot of fun!

I love my family!

Delaney and I have beach cruisers and the boys have mountain bikes.
It is a little easier for them to go certain places so they left us.
It's ok. We know how to entertain ourselves!

We were super confused when we went to go to church our first Sunday. We couldn't find the building! Turns out it is in a building that they have all kids or exercising, shopping and other stuff. We finally saw this little sign on the side of the building and thought maybe we were in the right place! So, we walked in and went upstairs. We had to go up about 3-4 flights of stairs and then we saw another sign. It is a little spot in the top of the building. It only has a couple rooms but that is ok because there are not many people there. Its a branch, not a ward. There are 3 young men (including my 2 boys!) There are 3 active men in the Elders Quorum, and there are like 4 kids in primary! It's so crazy, I've never been to a branch before. It might be difficult for the first few months because it is all in German but hopefully we will learn the language quickly!

Here is a picture of our house. The top two floors are our house. The ground floor has a super sweet older lady that lives there. The basement is for us both to share. That is where my washer and dryer are and some storage. Its a pretty nice house! We are so happy to be here!

We're Here!

Finally we are here! We have had a fun little trip to get here but it's nice to finally be here. We stayed in a hotel for a couple nights until the house was ready for us.

The first thing we did was go to see Torsten & Tatiana!
We missed them! So good to see them again!

They took us to a mall to do some shopping!
There were these cute little horses that you could pay
to let the kids ride around the mall!
Delaney & Vicky had a fun time riding around.

This is the view out my kitchen window looking down the hill.

Hotel swimming!
My kids really love swimming and we haven't
gone swimming in a long time!

Looking at our house from the river.
Our house is somewhere up on that hill...

Almost to Germany!

When we crossed over into Germany Wes asked us what we wanted for lunch. The kids all said Taco Bell. Everyone has been craving it because there aren't any Taco Bells here! So, just for fun we googled it. Guess what?! There was one just about 7 miles from where we were! We were super excited! Until we got a little closer. We realized it was on the Military Base... we can't get on the base! That sucks! It was so close but so far away! McDonald's it is. Neither are really my favorites but I was voted out.
Anyway, as soon as we started driving we realized how beautiful this country is! I am so very grateful for the opportunity to see Europe with my family!
These pictures aren't the best but they are taken through the window!

Delaney was very tired and I guess this was more comfortable
than her brother's shoulder...

Grange Way

Before we got two cars in England we had to wait at the church for Wes to finish with his meetings before we could go home. So, instead of just waiting around we decided to go for a walk. As we were walking we found a road called Grange Way! So, we decided to be crazy people and take pictures with it!
I sure love my kids! Aren't we adorable?!

I really wanted to steal the sign and send it to my dad
but I didn't think breaking the law would be a good thing to do...

Delaney's feet started to hurt so the boys decided
to take care of her! Sweet boys!

We made it about 2 miles before Wes came to pick us up!
But it was a nice pretty walk!
And there were lilacs! I love lilacs!
